Goodest Morning to ya.
The number gets higher every day. It has surpassed 120,000. My small donation seems so - well - small. I guess thoughts and prayers count too, though.
Someone needs to explain to me why she gets so much hype. I don't get it.
This is a little disturbing.
I'm holding out some hope for the Vikings this Sunday. Sometimes they play best when their backs are against the wall. I can't believe the season is over already! Guess it's time to start following Gopher Hockey. I'm not gonna follow that lame-o lacrosse, that's for sure. (not that I'm bitter about the Wild. really. I'm not. well, maybe a little.)
Again, no matter how bad my days at work can be, they're never this bad.
Is there anything funnier than The Onion? No, there isn't.
As Lileks said - Look at this picture. Oh. My. God. It makes my head explode. It also puts everything else in total perspective. (but my head is still exploding).
Let's start the last day of the year now. Talk to you later. Ciao.
It was a night for scrubbing and cleaning.. an "out with the old, in with the new" thing. It felt good. What felt better was the realization that the freakin' holidays are nearly over. Every year I think they're gonna get easier. Every year, something happens to remind me that they're NOT an easy time. But, every year, I somehow muddle through. Over the last two weeks, I've been supported by the best of friends (yeah, PWs, I'm lookin' at you). Even as each of the four of us struggle against our own demons, we're able to hold each other up. That's why I'm a very grateful girl right now. I know that no matter what lies ahead, I've got 3 quality people watchin' my back.
I'm not too tired yet, so maybe I'll actually get to watch the 10:00 news like a grown-up. I can't believe I have to work tomorrow. We might be the only company in town that's open! Tomorrow night is dinner and a party with some new friends... oh my gosh. I'll be up late two nights in a row. I'm back, baby!
Buona Sera.
I'm just so TIRED all the time! My sleep habits are now nearly the same as Mare's... at 9:30, I could barely keep my eyes open.
We stopped at the fun little store across from the restaurant last night, and I found even more Happy Bunny stuff.. which reminded me of the quiz I took:
You just don't care at all do you? Probably don't listen either. Oh well. Guess it is better you don't listen, everyone is full of crap anyway.
What Happy Bunny Are You? brought to you by Quizilla
Back to reality, though. Look at the numbers now. We were talking about this last night. You're on the beach in Thailand sunbathing, and then suddenly - you're gone. eeek. It's why we've gotta live large every day.
RIP Jerry Orbach! This news made me so sad. He will always and forever be Baby's Dad from Dirty Dancing to me, since I never watch Law & Order.
It looks like freezing rain out there. Oy. Now starts the annual "why do I live here in the winter" mood.. It lasts until the Home & Garden Show in February, when I can start looking forward to Spring. Until then - well - bundle up and stay warm, I guess. Have an excellent day! Ciao, Bellas. Talk to youse all domani...
The best Christmas present that I got was from me, to me: the Pee-wee's Playhouse Season 1 & 2 DVD. HaHa! When Sis3 and I were roommates we used to get up early on Saturday mornings to watch Pee-wee and the gang. I've watched 4 episodes so far, and have laughed out loud at every one of 'em.
The new estimate - 60,000. I can't even get my brain around that. Have you donated yet?
Well yikes. This guy has no holiday spirit, does he.
There's just all kinds of weird stuff in the news today: Christmas porn, ticking packages, driving dogs. It's all madness, I tell you.
I baked cookies last night..Russian Teacakes. I'm going to bring them in to work today, because I think we all need a treat. I've been SO good over the holidays; I've actually managed to LOSE 4 pounds over the last 3 weeks. And, Um, I think that's all I know this morning. WarmUp America Squares pictures coming soon. Ciao, Bellas.
It's one of those weeks again. I woke up this morning and thought, "What day is this, anyway?" I was convinced it was Friday. [sigh].
Show of hands: "hit her head" or passed out from schweeeling?
The huge earthquake rattled Earth's orbit, and moved the islands... and killed up to 45,000 people. Sure puts all the little daily problems you have into perspective, doesn't it? Find a way to donate to relief efforts, okay?
Mike Tice will be back to coach again next year. He'd BETTER get us to the Super Bowl. I'm just sayin'...
All right, then. Time to getta you move on, as Mike would say. Behave! Ciao.
::yawn::
Good Morning.
Oh my God. 20,000 people killed, and many had no warning.
I've never heard of this guy... but I've never understood how you don't know about stuff being packed into your suitcase. (as in "I didn't know the drugs were there.") No one has packed my suitcase for me since I was, what, 10 years old??
RIP Reggie White.
And in our yikes! moment of the day....
The strangest gift I got when I was teaching was one of those year ornaments from Hallmark... but it was from 3 years earlier. I still have it somewhere.
Okay. Time to move along. Have a day... Ciao.
Call me Scrooge-Girl if you want... but THIS is my favorite day of the year. It's the day we get to take a breath and be done with all the holiday rush, and we're the farthest away from it all starting up again.
I haven't tripped through the news yet, but go take a look at this story about St. Kate's - my school. Today is the centennial. I'm most proud to be an alumna of the nation's largest private women's college. It's a large part of why I am who I am. This quote in the story says it all: "Coming to St. Kate's makes me realize that I can do everything a man can do. They make us value ourselves as women. ..."
Anyway, go read the story.
Have an excellent day. Ciao.
have yourself a merry little christmas

Buon Natale! Love, chele
Merry Christmas Eve! (if you're into that sort of thing...) I got home from dinner last night and there just wasn't one ounce of energy left in me. It's been a brutal week. I'm looking forward to three days of resting and recouperating. And no stress is allowed.
Thank God I'm done shopping.
Show of hands: Is Robert Blake guilty? Uh Huh. That's what I thought, too.
Don't read this headline if you're eating breakfast. Or if you ever want to eat again, frankly.
Oh, how sad. But mostly I just like to say his name out loud. "Giuseppe Di Stefano". Il mio fratello!
Have a wonderous day. Ciao, Bellas. Ti Amo.
I'm glad this work week is over. I'm glad the holidays are almost over. I've had enough. Bring on the new year, already.
Those ominous words: wind chill advisory - are getting tossed around this morning. It feels like it's 18 below right now. But I will take all this cold as long as we don't have snow. Global warming - it's a great thing. (kidding, kidding. well, sorta).
One small step in the right direction. But sadly, all their actions are too little, too late. They all come after the abuse has happened.
How does this happen? Where is the security? This is an army base! How does someone just get to stroll in with explosives? Gah!
Have I mentioned that Bertuzzi is a thug? It's a GAME, you idiot. He threatened Moore verbally in the game prior to sucker-punching him in the head. But he doesn't think of himself as a criminal? Gee... If I got fed up with a co-worker and punched him in the head, I'd be considered a criminal. Now he's on indefinite NHL suspension and has no contract and no offers. He's done. and good riddance.
I was in a GOOD mood before I started reading the news! Let me find some happy stuff...
Uh oh. I have to return my present for Dame! (kidding, kidding. well, sorta).
Funny.... yet it hits a little close to home.
Interesting - and no, it's not the holiday celebrating my car.
I love jen gray's blog.
Gotta run.. Have the greatest day possible. Ciao.
Let the winter hibernation begin! I made ginger cookies for the department potluck last night, frosted them and then promptly fell asleep on the couch. I woke up at 9:15, and went to BED! I'm normally a night owl.. 9:15 is like the middle of the day most of the time. It felt great, though. I slept straight through 'til 4:30.
Let's take a quick trip through the news:
Holy cow (literally). Take a look at Kirstie. She's going to start appearing in Jenny Craig ads.
At last! I'd actually ride the light rail if it ran into St. Paul. But at $800 million.. will it really happen?
Not much else of note that I want to talk about now. Two more days of work, and then some well-deserved unwinding time. I gotta get going. Ciao!
It's the shortest day of the year, the first day of winter, just in general my least favorite day. My positive spin on it? Well, at least the days get longer from now.
And let's talk about the commute in to work yesterday. The SKATE in to work, more correctly! It was just starting to sprinkle a little bit as I was pulling out of the garage. By the time I got onto the freeway it was full-on freezing rain. Some @$$hole in a big ol' 4x4 truck thought it was a good idea to cross over 3 lanes of traffic to get to an exit ramp. WHEN will these yayhoos learn that 4x4 does nothing on glare ice? He went spinning around, off into the ditch. I just continued on my 40mph merry way.... It took 45 minutes to get to work, but I was all in one piece. This morning it looks like snow out there. I love winter. Or not-so-much.
And in IssyCat news (c'mon, Helen... you LOVE this stuff, right?!?) - it would appear that stubborn little CatMan has now decided that he doesn't like the very brand of cat food that he has eaten virtually every day of his adult life. How does that happen?? He's eating this morning, but grudgingly. Time to pick up some new flavors, eh?
A sixth Harry Potter book! Maybe I should finish the first. I confess.. couldn't get into it. Maybe I'll pick it up one more time.
What the hell. It's like a bad, bad sitcom. Only not so funny.
Craig Ferguson on the Late Late Show? I'll tivo it - give it a shot.
I just know that this guy must secretly work at our office. (no, the pooper hasn't been around lately. Thank God.)
One year for Christmas, my friend the PaperBoy sent out cards that featured a picture of him at age two, sitting on Santa's lap, screaming his head off. Inside the card were the words "I still feel this way around the holidays". It's my favorite card of all time! Here are some similar pictures - too funny! (link via Freakgirl).
Onward! or something. Have a day. Ciao.
This has never happened in the history of life: I had to WAKE Issy-Cat up to eat. All weekend he slept in until about 6:00 before he'd wake me up.. but usually when that alarm goes off on Monday morning, he's right there at the food dish. Maybe this means he's getting old. Maybe he was just especially warm and cozy. He's pretty ticked off at me right now.
The Vikings got an early Christmas present from Detroit yesterday..specifically from Don Mulbach, who botched a snap. Thank you, Sir.
Thank goodness, the low-carb craze appears to be over. Now, pass me the pasta...
Congrats to the Twin Cities very own Power Line, which has been named Time's Blog of the Year.
Issy did get up to eat a bit, then he climbed up on my lap and I'm trying to type around him. I'm so glad that it's a short week. I'm sneezing and the ears are plugged up and yeah.. I'm being a baby about being sick. So a little more coffee, a little more OJ and I'll be ready to start the day. Ciao. Have a good one.
Saturday was the relaxing day I thought it would be, thank you very much! I started the next knitting project - squares for Warm Up America. I'll probably just throw 'em all together into one blanket myself. I like this cause...
Eeeka! I am getting a cold. I've fought this one off long and hard for about 3 weeks, but when I woke up this morning I discovered that the germs had won. Gotta love that.
So maybe I'll watch the game today, and work on the blanket squares, and drink some tea and wrap up and stay warm... or maybe Mare will come up with a better plan (yeah, I'm lookin' at YOU!). That's all for now. Ciao.
Aaaaah. Sleep in. Have coffee. Click through the news. Then I'm going to run to the yarn store to pick up, well, yarn. I'm finally finished with those legwarmers. If I don't wear them every single day of my life now, it'll be a waste! ::smile::
Holiday shopping is done, presents that need to be sent have been sent. The cards are going in the mail today. I think that's everything.
I'm gonna try to just have a calm day now. Hope yours is as well. Ciao, Bellas!
Did I mention? It's FINALLY Friday! It's been the longest week. And thanks for the wishes and thoughts yesterday. It's all good! Everything is going to be just fine.
I didn't watch one minute of The Apprentice. Did this guy deserve to win?
Well DUH. Yes, he was deranged. I'm thinking that the mom is a little deranged as well. Why in God's name would you give your "troubled" son, who had "drug issues" a gun for his birthday? Oy.
Will Jenna Bush have Secret Service men in the classroom as she's teaching? Don't get me wrong.. good for her, and I'm always glad when someone joins the noble teaching profession. It would be too bad, though, if it turned into a circus in her classroom. God knows the kids'll do that on their own! HeeHee! Voice of experience talking, here...
You KNEW this was gonna happen. When you start the buzz that there's not enough vaccine people just won't even bother trying. Now it'll just end up going to waste.
Gotta run. Ciao, Bellas!
Well, what do we know this morning? I know that at some point every day this week, I've been convinced that it's Friday. Then I remember - "Oh, it's only ___day", and then I'm a little sad.
Thank goodness - the bus hijacking ended peacefully.
Enough! Enough with Survivor already. I can't believe people still watch this.
All right, Grandpa. Proving once again - it's never too late to get a tattoo. C'mon, CuzGirl! This is your big chance! (oh, all right. Never mind.)
The Cubes are on my wish list this year! I must have these.
The work day promises to be a little calmer. At least I'm not in back to back meetings. I have some other stuff to deal with today, too, so if you think of it, send some good thoughts my way. I have an appointment at 2:00. Talk to youse all later. Ciao.
I love technology! I just finished the rest of my holiday shopping..at 5:00 in the morning, sipping coffee, wearing my jammies. What did we do before the internet? We actually had to go outside, I guess. Heh.
Sigh. No hockey.
I never watch "The View" and consequently have never seen this Star Jones.. but she certainly seems to get a lot of people mad at her.
Sharon Stone looks really good for not having any plastic surgery done... Show of hands - has she been nip/tucked?
Cat Fight! Cat Fight!
And in our what-the-hell moment of the day....
Have a most glorious day! Ciao.
Good Morning. Or Something.
It's ironic that Scott Peterson will have to spend the rest of his life overlooking the place where he dumped his wife and his baby. Why didn't he just get divorced? Again - I guess you can't get into the mind of a crazy-person...
How will it be New Year's Eve if Dick Clark doesn't do the countdown for us?
Did you know that she was a Miss America finalist? I didn't. And I really want to go see her new movie.
I don't get it.
Ewwwwwwwww! But much easier than Weight Watchers.
Ciao~!
It's starting now.. first morning with a below zero (-4) windchill. Oy. At least there's no snow on the ground.
But it was scary windy here yesterday. If it had been snowing yesterday, it would have been a blizzard.
We're not going to talk about the game. Nope.
Yummy coffee treat of the week: mmmmm.... Eggnog....
It's another busy week starting. I've gotta mail out those holiday cards, pick up a couple more gifts, get the oil changed, run a couple city-errands for the fam... and I have something going 4 out of 5 nights this week. Not that I'm complaining. Really, I'm not!
Have a good day. Ciao.
The Parade was ever so much fun! We collected LOTS of food.. and cash, too. It wasn't even that cold. In fact, pre- and post- parade we were all way too hot because of so many layers. During the parade itself we were all fine. After we finished the route, a few of us headed to Brits for some dinner.
All my chores are mostly done (except for laundry. Why is it that laundry is never, ever done?) so I'm giving myself permission to be a lazygirl today and watch TV and finish a couple of knitting projects. I can even throw in a few loads of laundry while I'm doing that, I suppose.
Go read the news yourselves! I'm gonna start with the laziness, already. Ciao.
No condo pics. I REALLY wanted to like this place. I love the location, I love the building... I hated the spaces. Couldn't imagine living there. There was virtually no storage space. I'd have to downsize so much to even think about getting my stuff in there. There was little convenient free parking for guests. It just didn't feel right. We walked through model after model and I was willing myself to like the place: "C'mon - you should LIKE this!" Nope. So, on to plan C. I'll start looking again just after the holidays.
I'm marching in the Holidazzle Parade tonight! I think I have enough layers of clothing to wear. When I look at the hourly forecasts (how do they guess THOSE, anyway?) they say 31 degrees at 6pm, so it won't be brutally cold. Not for us tundra-dwellers, anyway. This will be fun!
I remember exactly where I was when I first heard "We are the World". It was a big deal - all the Twin Cities radio stations played it at the same time. I was at the health club on the bikes, and everyone just kinda stopped and listened. I don't know that they can capture that moment again.
I'm no great fan of Wal-Mart, but how is this lawsuit even possible? How are they to be held responsible for censoring band lyrics?
"Spanglish" looks good. Looking forward to seeing it.
When I was in 2nd or 3rd grade, one of the boys brought dog food (I think it was Liv-a-Snaps) to school and we ate them. Ewwwwwwww. Ewwwww. Ewwwwww.
What a great idea.
Yikes. "LiveStrong" - or die! Which does it really mean?
Talk to youse all later. Ciao.
A quick synopsis of chele's day yesterday, hour by hour: good, busy, BAD, busy, busy, BAD, good, knitting time!, good, BAD, BAD, VERY BAD, WORST EVER, busy, good, BAD....
Well, you get the idea. Today I work the morning, then meet fabulous RealtorGirl for lunch, then we're looking at some condos. A bit of gift shopping, and then - well, I've had a hard week!
Quick look at the news:
At least players and the owners are talking to each other again. It's a start. They better get it settled, because, oh my GOD do we really wanna watch this?? I don't even know what this is!
Watched ER last night. BlahBlahBlah. She euthanized her dad. BlahBlahBlah. I'm so over it. When Mark Greene died I wept like a baby. Now I just stare at the TV incredulously. She's actually smart to get out now.
This is so sad. Why would someone do this? I guess you can never get into the mind of a crazy person, and because he's dead too, we'll never know. Madness.
The 81-year-old atheist now believes in God. He says he now believes because of "scientific evidence". I say he's just hedging his bets! After all, he's 81 years old!
Gotta get going. Condo pictures later! Ciao.
I just heard on the news that NHL players and owners are talking in Toronto today. Could it be? Will it be?
Normally, MaddyCat is the good one. This morning she ran over my big toe with her razor-sharp kitty back-claws, resulting in two huge scratches. OUCH, man. That could not hurt more. She knows she was bad.. she's trying to be all cuddly-cat-pet-me-look-how-cute-I-am. No way. I'm not buying it.
Did you SEE West Wing last night??! It's getting good again!
Martha Stewart is planning her comeback show. This will be huge.(C'mon. Admit it. You'll watch).
Dick Clark had a stroke, but it was mild, and he'll be fine. I think he's really some kind of robot/clone thing. How is it possible that he looks that good at 75?
Holy God. This is horrible, and it could happen anywhere. I swear, I'm never leaving the house again.
I keep telling you all to get onboard the Desperate Housewives bandwagon! This might be the beginning of the end of all the reality schlock.
Oy. Wayne Brady needs to accept the fact that his 15 minutes are up. Show of hands - who will watch his hilarious new series? Uh Huh. That's what I thought.
Yeeeeouch! In order to avoid this, don't run through the neighborhood naked, okay?
I've had three days of back-to-back chaos at work. Late yesterday I blocked off my calendar for today so that I can actually get some desk work done. I'm supposed to have tomorrow off (last vacation Friday of the year), but I might have to go in - at least for part of the day. I don't know what's different about this week, and why it's so crazy. But, as always, chele gets through it. I always do. Have an excellent day. Or at least a sane one. Ciao.
What's new? Oh yeah, I have my own domain name now! Same ol' cheleblog, without the ads and the netfirms banner at the top. Both addresses will work - I have to put that redirect script thing in, and I think I know how to do that. But I'm not doing it at 5 AM. I'll do that this weekend. But you may want to update your favorites or links. Last time I'm changing addresses, I promise.
I can relate to the trouble you can have when your sleep time changes. They don't mention my particular cure - MORE COFFEE. I've found you can go on almost any amount of sleep as long as you drink enough coffee when you get up!
Craig Ferguson is a good choice for the Late Show.
What's the "N" Network? That's not on my cable line-up. We have the worst cable in the world. I remember it took forever for us to get MSNBC! We still don't have the Hallmark channel or the Speed Channel.
I'd forgotten about Camille. New American Idol season starts up in January.
Do you know where the states are? This is my one talent in life. 100% baby!!! (link via Friday Fishwrap).
And there ya have it. Gotta go - Ciao.
I would put some news up here for you.. but the internet is broken. Well, my internet is, anyway. So I'll just blather a little bit.
Here is my fabulous new robe.. nothing is more important than the right fluffy robe.
I worked on my legwarmers for 2 hours at knitting last night at knitting. I'm afraid I'm not going to be done with them before Saturday. The next project is going to be on BIG needles so I finish quickly!
Who's going to march in the Holidazzle Parade on Saturday? Oh, that's right - ME.
I can tell that it's damp and cold outside. My leg is killin' me. I broke it.. how long ago was that...15 years? I can still forecast the weather with it.
Yeah, I know. Most boring post ever.. I got nothin'! Have the best day possible. Ciao.
Top Ten Winter Songs
Merry Kwanzakkuhamas! (did I leave anyone out?). Here are my top ten winter/holiday songs, as always, in no particular order:
1. Christmas Time is Here/Linus & Lucy - Vince Guaraldi Trio
What are these, you may ask? Four Words: A Charlie Brown Christmas! They're on the soundtrack. It's absolutely impossible to NOT be happy when you listen to these songs. (and they're on iTunes. You know you want to hear them..)
2. Same Old Lang Syne - Dan Fogelberg
"Met my old lover in the grocery store. The snow was falling, Christmas Eve." No one tells a song-story like Dan Fogelberg.
3. Frosti - Bjork
It's the big ol' musicbox song! One of my favorite parts of this song is the sound of snow crunching underfoot.
4. Christmas Island - Leon Redbone
"How'd you like to hang your stocking on a great big coconut tree?" Oh yeah..I spent one Christmas in Hawaii, and I must admit that I really did miss the snow. After you've lived in the tundra for this long, your brain starts to freeze.
5. Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas - The Carpenters
This song should also be on my top ten "songs I'm most ashamed to admit that I like". But I love Karen Carpenters' voice. She should have eaten more fruit cake or something..
6. Out in the Cold - Judas Priest
It's not really a holiday OR a winter song. It just has the word "Cold" in the title. But it wouldn't BE a chelelist without one Judas Priest song on it. (The two Charlie Brown songs will offset this one, so I'm not cheating!)
7. You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch - Boris Karloff
I dedicate this one to all you Scrooges out there. Bah, Humbug!
8. White Christmas (1947 Single) - Bing Crosby
The one from the White Christmas soundtrack. It's not officially the holidays until I watch this movie at least twice.
9. Silver Bells - Johnny Mathis
My dad used to sing this song to us. Keep in mind that English was not his native language: "Seeeelvah Belllllls, Seeeelvah Belllllls. It'sa Christ-a-mis-a-time in Nevada." Why he sang it that way I'll never know. But it wasn't until I was about 10 years old that I found out otherwise!
10. Feliz Navidad - Jose Feliciano
::Dancing around:: Once again - just TRY to be unhappy when this is playing! ::Continues dancing::
That's my list. Go wish all these other people a happy Hanuramakwanzachristmas, too:

Have a great day.. Ciao, Bellas.
At first I didn't understand why baseball players using steroids was such a big deal. Then I read the quote by McCain. "I don't care about Mr. Bonds or Mr. Sheffield or anybody else...What I care about are high school athletes who are tempted to use steroids because they think that's the only way they can make it in the major leagues." Okay. Now I get it.
In my twilight zone moment of the week [insert creepy music here], I watched Mask on Friday (TiVo got it for me), and then I read that Laura Dern just had a baby. I hadn't even remembered that she was in that movie.
Oh, now this is sad.. washed up country singer passed out behind the wheel. I'm pretty sure there's a C&W song in there someplace.
Scam, scam, scam.
I'll probably watch the game this afternoon. I have to run one more errand (to get the one thing I was SUPPOSED to get yesterday. sheesh!), then it's definitely time for cleaning. Definitely. Have a great day! Ciao
It's so very 80s... But they'll be so warm!
Good Saturday morning to you. I've got the extra-industrial-strength coffee going, and the Moody Blues on iTunes. Oh my God. I think that means I'm ::gasp:: middle-aged! That's okay, though.. I can say with all conviction that I've earned every wrinkle - I now understand why they're called crows-feet - and gray hair - which are easily covered by ColorSilk #34. Hey, I never said I was going down without a fight!
I've gotta do the usual running around today. Why does it take a minimum of two Target trips to get everything I need? And that's when I HAVE a list. And I'll probably have to go to the yarn store as long as I'm out and about. I'm making the legwarmers from the Stitch 'n Bitch Nation book. (yeah, yeah, I had some when I was about 14 or 15... I should have just kept 'em). If I spend a little time on it today I'll have the first one done today. Pictures as soon as it is.
It's almost the first Monday of the month, which means another top 10 list from all of us. The theme this month is Winter Songs - holiday or otherwise. I've got a good jump on it, so I won't be scrambling on Monday morning.
I haven't read the news yet, so I don't know what's going on in the world. Think I'll go do that right now.. if there's anything that I can't keep quiet about, I'll put it up here. Otherwise I'll talk to youse all later. Ciao, Bellas!
Has this been the longest week EVER or what? Not that I'm complaining..had another bday dinner last night.
I just don't get it. Again - HOW does the fact that she's a lesbian negate all the good she does in her church? It sounds like her parishoners and fellow clergy think she's an "Outstanding pastor and person of great spiritual integrity." It's so sad that she's not going to be allowed to minister. The God I know just isn't as mean as some of those right-wing nutjobs out there.
Is it possible? Dare we hope that they may salvage at least part of a season?
Heh.. the caption on this picture of Brian Williams should read "what the hell am I doing here?" I'm sure he'll be good.. but he's looking a little petrified!
EWWWWWWW. Thank you for not subjecting us to that ad. (Warning - do not read that headline if you are eating).
.....I told you! ewwwwww.
Well, this is a noble pursuit. I guess. Sounds a little dangerous to me.
I'm sneezing, sneezing, sneezing. What's that about? I think I need to stay home on the couch tonight. Have a good day. Ciao!
First of all: CONGRATS TO DAME!! Welcome back to the world of getting up early for work. Don't worry... you'll get used to it.
Buh-bye, Tom Brokaw. We'll miss you.
It's the end of the world as we know it. The Chiefs last and the Chargers first?? It's the bizarro world.
Sadly, the NHL is losing face with some fans. It's not been that bad so far - but just wait until football season is over. What am I gonna watch in February??
The new U2 album is da bomb! (get it? heh heh... I'm like a comedian...) No disappointing tracks at all.
Jerry Orbach will forever be the dad from Dirty Dancing to me. Hope he'll be okay.
Who didn't see this coming? NBC's success really did rest almost totally on Friends. Anyone want to wager how much longer Joey will last?
WHEN will they open an all cereal restaurant here? I'd be all over that! Apple Jacks! Cocoa Puffs (and Cocoa Krispies.. my REAL favorite)! Cap'n Crunch! EEEEK! I feel a sugar high coming on...
Gotta run. Ciao.
Wow... can be possibly be December already??
Yeah, yeah, Ken Jennings lost. I didn't watch one minute of it.
Desperate Housewives... Number ONE show! I so thought that Nicolette Sheridan was getting bumped off this week. And what is Bree gonna do about her soul-less child?
A few more details about Martha's possible new reality show. And c'mon... you KNOW you'll read her jailhouse memoir. Or maybe that's just me.
On the other hand, I KNOW I don't wanna see the DaVinci Code movie. Just leave well enough alone.
Not guilty.. but still nutty.
Is it wrong that I want this coat in brown? SO cute. Or what about this pink one? Or is this one better? I need a wool coat.
Gotta do some laundry tonight, and clean up the place. I haven't had a whole evening home since Saturday. Have a good day. Ciao!
